About
I’m a client relationship manager at Fast Horse, an integrated consumer marketing agency in Minneapolis. My wife and I live with our goldendoodle, Olive, in a small house in the Highland Park neighborhood of St. Paul. Born and raised in Sioux Falls, S.D., I earned my English-Creative Writing degree at Minnesota State, Mankato, dabbled in graduate school, moved to Portland, Ore. for a hot second, then wound up in the Twin Cities — for good.
I enjoy coffee, golf, running, severe weather, red pepper hummus, quality news reporting, 60 Minutes and hooded sweatshirts. My favorite album of all time is Hootie & The Blowfish’s Cracked Rear View. I’m terrible at planning my Halloween costume. I have tended bar, marched in a gay pride parade, been voluntarily Tasered and recorded a hole-in-one. I want to live to 105, if possible.

“I never worked with T.I. Here’s the back story to that Wikipedia nugget: I was a guest on TRL and happened to get my hands on the list of goofy, un Andrew-Miller-like questions I was going to be asked before I walked on set. One of the questions was ‘Who do you like more, T.I. or [I forgot the other southern rap artist]?’ So I snuck to the bathroom and searched ‘T.I.’ on my Blackberry. I memorized as much information as I could and then announced that we were working together.”
